The Project
The project has a total of 62 homes with 3 and 4 bedrooms distributed in three “garden city” blocks designed with bioclimatic criteria to optimize energy consumption and respect for their environment. Jardins de Can Misses will have large garden areas and numerous services in the urban area of the city, without sacrificing the comforts of the new developments on the outskirts. To achieve this, the project has a lake pool for adults and another for children, a gym, a playground, a petanque or bowling court, and a multipurpose room for children’s birthdays and community meetings, among others. In addition, each home will have two private parking spaces and a storage room.
Design
In its design, the orientation of each of the buildings has been taken into account to adapt its configuration to the air currents and the incidence of sunlight, thus favoring the ventilation of the homes and the entry of natural light into each of its rooms. In the interiors of the homes, wood elements and natural fiber have been used, treated with ecological varnishes, and suppressing materials that use toxic glues. Likewise, native plants adapted to the climate of the area will be planted in the gardens and, therefore, with a minimum consumption of irrigation.
