Our social mission
Avintia Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to projects that draw on Grupo Avintia’s know-how. Its mission is to promote people’s well-being and comfort through the humanisation of healthcare, with the goal of becoming a benchmark foundation recognised for its person-centred care model.
It focuses on three main areas of action: research, supporting it through the creation of dedicated spaces and partnerships with academic institutions; sustainability, contributing to sustainable development; social and humanitarian, improving the quality of life of people and groups in situations of social disadvantage, both within and beyond the company.
Casa Avintia
A flagship project of the Avintia Foundation, in collaboration with the Community of Madrid, Casa Avintia provides accommodation for relatives of patients from other parts of Spain who are admitted to ICUs or Neonatal Units in Madrid Health Service hospitals, where visiting hours are restricted.
This initiative allows families to focus on what truly matters, helping them avoid the added physical, emotional and financial strain that can come with a loved one’s hospitalisation.
